Bearing the soul 
 
Some things hurt  
So much more than pain 
Some things in life 
can make you go insane 
Can send your life  
Spiraling out of control  
And when you reach that place 
It's only then you bear your soul 
 
Its when you reach so low 
And there's no place left to go 
When friends can help no more 
When your lying helpless on the floor 
When tears finally subside 
And you have no place left to hide 
It's only then you bear your soul 
 
When darkness hides all light  
All you see is constant night  
When ideas vacate the mind 
Reasons to live are hard to find 
When your life is a total mess 
Only then are you ready to confess 
It's only then you bear your soul 
 
I once visited such a place 
Stood stearing face to face 
With the very inner soul of me 
Its a very scary place to be 
Now it seems a distant day 
The day I had to say 
Its time to  bear my soul
